So after putting it off for a week (almost two) I have begun decorating for Christmas. Today I decorated upstairs (minus the bathroom and kitchen which we decorate last). I am very proud of my decorating and just wanted to share them with you! So here we go:
This is on top of our book case in our bedroom. That Nutcracker was given to me (along with an autographed storybook) when I danced in the Nutcracker with the Moscow Ballet Theatre. (It's been about 9 or 10 years ago now, but I still cherish it!)

This is our "black out" curtain (put up when Dj worked third shift and never taken down because its nice to keep our room cooler and let's face it who doesn't like falling asleep in the dark even if its just a nap?)
I pinned a bunch of handmade envelopes and put cute quotes, love coupons, and dates in them for Dj.
He opens one everyday like an advent calendar!
He loved the ideas when I surprised him with it after he got off work one night.
I got the idea from another blog and you can find it here ---> Dating Divas Advent Calendar

Here's a close up of the "Merry Christmas" sign I drew in the center!
Here is our gerbil (Sura). Her cage was subject to my Christmas spirit too.
I don't think she likes it too much either.

Sura had to check out all the flashes coming from my camera.
Next up is a slideshow of the snow village!
This has always been my favorite thing.
It is in the hallway leading to the front door and makes a lovely welcome to any guests.

And last but not least, the Christmas tree!
I've also took some pictures of my favorite ornaments on the tree.

Now, to decorate the basement! (Where we eat our dinner on Christmas!) I will be doing that this weekend so stay tuned for more pictures! =]
